Tree Safety
Ash Dieback Felling
Ash dieback is a fungal disease that affects ash trees. Over time it makes the wood brittle and the tree unsafe, with branches or whole trees liable to fail.
For landowners, dealing with affected ash matters most where trees stand next to roads, footpaths, buildings, livestock and boundaries - places where a falling limb or tree could cause damage or injury.
How we can help
- Assessing affected ash trees on your land
- Felling and clearing diseased trees safely
- Processing the timber once the trees are down
- Serving landowners across the Cotswolds
And Much More

“
Jolyon Limbrick does first class work at a very reasonable price, has helpful suggestions and always completes any job on time. He designs garden improvements with great precision and an excellent, accurate eye for what will work. He undertakes almost anything - laying out paths, building structures, designing vegetable beds, cutting down trees, and even delivering compost. It is all done with speed and accuracy. We cannot recommend him too highly.
“
Mr Limbrick recently completed garden landscaping at my property. He tackled challenging ground conditions with skill and determination. His work met all requirements while staying within the agreed budget. He operated digger and dumper equipment with precision and care. Every detail received proper attention throughout the project. The finished site was immaculately clean and tidy. Mr Limbrick proved himself a sound and capable contractor. His professionalism and reliability set high standards. I recommend him without hesitation for similar projects.
“
We called Jolyon out of hours after a large tree came down across our driveway during a storm. He arrived quickly, cleared the debris safely and left everything tidy - all at a very fair price. Knowing that kind of reliable emergency support is available gives us real peace of mind. We have since used Home Farm Holdings for regular paddock maintenance and the standard of work has been equally impressive.
“
Home Farm Holdings installed post and rail fencing along the full perimeter of our smallholding. The work was completed on time, the lines are straight and the finish is excellent. Jolyon was easy to work with throughout - he listened to exactly what we needed and offered practical suggestions that saved us money. We would not hesitate to use him again.
“
We have used Home Farm Holdings for wood chipping and general land clearance over the past two seasons. The service is consistently reliable, the machinery is well maintained and the work is carried out with real care for the land. Jolyon has a thorough understanding of low-impact forestry practices which matters greatly to us. Thoroughly recommended.

Jolyon delivered several loads of premium compost to our allotment and the quality was outstanding - rich, well-rotted and exactly as described. Communication was prompt, delivery was on time and he was helpful and courteous throughout. It is refreshing to deal with someone who takes genuine pride in what they do. We will certainly be ordering again.
